Classic American Cars

Classic American Car collection, including a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro police interceptor. Seized as a normal base model camaro in 1994 by the NYPD on a drugs raid. Usually they are auctioned off or destroyed but in this occasion the vehicle was re-utilised for publicising the D.A.R.E AND HEAT projects visiting schools, colleges and events for awareness of drugs, DUI, violence and car thefts. It was then highly modified and put into service as a pursuit vehicle until it was decommissioned due to policies changing on vehicle use and then sold shortly afterwards via auction to a collector in Japan before coming to the UK collector.

This was an actual NYPD car so with the help of NYPD and Humberside Police's garage, they managed to replicate as close as they could what the vehicle looked like when it was in service. The car is still missing a lot of police equipment such as the push bar, ANPR cameras, and the police computer but they have located them and will be purchasing in the future.
